New library job templates
If you’re familiar with our job template builder you’ll know you can create your own templates for different job types or even different customers. To help you get started, you can copy one of our existing examples and this month we’ve added some new ones including a PAT test template, delivery and collection templates and various Fire Alarm templates.

New jobs filter – Un viewed jobs
Ensuring your employees or subcontractors have seen the jobs you have assigned to them is critical. Various checks and alerts are built into the system, but ultimately it’s down to your technician to open their app and view their jobs.
To reduce the risk of missed jobs, you can now more easily see which jobs have not been viewed. Simply click the filters and then select Jobs not viewed.
System performance updates
We implemented some big performance improvements this month including dramatically speeding up the time to go from the job details back to the job dashboard.
We also spotted a potential improvement for the calendar. Opening the job details within the same window rather than in a new tab should have a big impact on performance. If you still want the job details to open in a new tab then please let us know.

Q:“I am having an issue with my Okappy in that my search field has dissappeared from the top right of the screen?”
A:“The search field gets replaced with a magnifying icon if the screen size is small. You can click on the magnifying glass to search. Alternatively, if you make your browser window bigger or zoom out, then the global search field will re-appear.”
