3 questions please
Quote from Guest on 1 October 2020, 12:00 amDesktop and Mobile App questions
Hi, I have 3 questions please (but it would be easier to explain if I could attach some print screens here, but):1. When I go to Change Page Layout and I select to show the Description of the job and Name for the client, when in the Jobs List, the fields Description and Name will have no content, they are in blank and I can edit and add a description and the name of the clients; why these fields are not already filled in automatically with the content I have written when I added the job? Because the field Address1, Address2 etc for example, shows automatically filled in with the address.
2. I am selecting Address2 to be shown on the Jobs List, which is the site address, but when I go to Mobile View, the address shown is actually the Address1, which is the invoice address (and not where the engineers actually have to go). So they have to click on the job to check the site address. Can I have the Address2/Site Address to be shown instead please?
3. Also, following the question 2, I noticed that the field Customer or the field Name are not shown on the Mobile View. How can I make the customer/client's name appear on the job list please?
Thank you.

You can attach screenshots using the insert / edit image button in the toolbar.
1. The information in the job dashboard maps to the fields you have selected in your job template. You don’t have any fields in your template which map to the job description and name field hence why its blank. If you want to add them, click into your template, click +Add field and then make sure the field type maps to one of the columns shown on the dashboard
2. Again this is dependant on you’re job template. If you want the addresses the other way around the easiest way would be to just change the Field name in the two address fields in the template builder so Address1 is Full Site Address and Address 2 in the Invoice Address, You can also drag and drop them in the template builder to swap their position.
3. As per above, when you click on the field in the job template and then click on the field type you can see what fields show in the mobile as well as the desktop
