Private notes field

Hi,

We have set up our system to have a description tab on the overview screen so that we can put private office only information in there so that the ACO’s do not see this.

The description tab is not visible on the job sheet and should not be visible on the app, however we have had several subcontractors saying that they can see this information showing on their app.

Please can you advise how we can rectify this so that the description tab is for office use only as we do not want our subcontractors seeing this information.

Hi,

For information to appear to you but not be visible on the app, it needs to be on the overview screen but not in the templates. (see https://www.okappy.com/support-article/work-information-for-office-only/)

However, just to note the description, customer reference and address will show on the front screen of the app regardless of whether it is in your job template.

If you use Column1 and call it Office info. That field is not used in any of your templates and will therefore not show up on the app.
