what happens to archived jobs

Hello I keep getting a message I have too many jobs open so should archive completed ones which I have just tried but now I cannot call the archived job back up. Can you please let me know what happens to archived jobs as I do not want to lose them we need to call these up in case we get called back. Thanks. Mandy Office Manager

Archived jobs are still available on the system. You can find them using the global search or from within one of the jobs reports.
