If you're looking on the dashboard (a lot of customers have a big monitor on their wall) any new jobs will be highlighted by flashing yellow for a few seconds.
When adding a job, you can also set whether to alert your subcontractor by text message. So in this case, if your customer added a job for you, you'd receive that message. For more information, check out our Adding a job support article.
